We cordially invite you to participate in the upcoming 2014 International Conference on Food Security and Rural Development to be held 18-20 October, 2014 in Nanjing, China. The conference is jointly organized by Nanjing Agricultural University, International Food Policy Research Institute and Goettingen University. Researchers and practitioners in agricultural economics and rural development are invited to submit papers and participate in the symposium. Suggested topics include but not limited to:

Hosted by the College of Economics and Management and the Research Center for Food Security, Nanjing Agricultural University, the 2014 International Conference on Food Security and Rural Development will include the following Keynote Speakers:
• Shenggen Fan, General- Director, International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI); Recipient of the 2014 Hunger Hero Award.
• William J. Martin, Research Manager, Agriculture and Rural Development, Development Research Group, World Bank; President-elect of International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE).
• Stephan von Cramon-Taubadel, Professor, Department for Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, Goettingen University, Germany; the Executive Member at Large, International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE).
• Jikun Huang, Director and Professor, Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Fellow of The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS).
