基于RNA-Seq技术的o2胚乳差异表达分析

Opaque2 (O2)转录因子在玉米胚乳的发育进程中起重要作用。o2突变体中赖氨酸含量增加玉米品质提高,但在很多农艺性状上表现较差。本研究以授粉后18天(18 DAP)的玉米胚乳为材料,使用RNA测序(RNA-Seq)技术筛选到3051个差异表达基因(DEGs)。通过GO和KEGG富集分析发现,DEGs覆盖了物质跨膜运输、次生代谢物的生物合成、植物激素信号转导、脂质代谢、氮代谢等多方面的功能,由此推测O2是玉米胚乳发育过程中多种代谢途径的关键性调节因子。 英文摘要: The transcriptional activator Opaque2 (O2) plays an important role in maize endosperm development. Mutations in the O2 gene improve the maize nutritional value by increasing the level of lysine, but display poor agronomic traits. It revealed 3051 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) using RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) between wild-type and o2 maize endosperm at 18 DAP. The DEGs are related to transmembrane transport, biosynthesis of secondary metabolites, plant hormone signal transduction, lipid metabolism, nitrogen metabolism, etc. It is conjectured that O2 is a central regulatory factor in the development of maize endosperm. 查看全文
