海藻精是一种环境友好的生长调节物质,为了研究海藻精对水分胁迫下鲜食玉米苗生长的影响,本研究以珠玉甜1号、珠玉糯1号为材料,盆栽条件下,研究了从严重干旱到重度淹水等6个不同的水分条件下,4个不同浓度的海藻精对两个鲜食玉米品种(珠玉甜1号、珠玉糯1号)种子萌发和幼苗生长的影响。结果显示,在水分胁迫下,海藻精对两个鲜食玉米种子萌发没有明显的效果,但可以通过促进根长增长,根条数增加,提高保护酶活性,累积可溶性糖来增强鲜食玉米苗期的抗逆性,MDA含量减少显示施用海藻精减少了水胁迫的危害对细胞膜损害。在南方水分胁迫频繁发生的背景下,种植鲜食玉米时施用海藻精有利于其稳产和高产。

Seaweed extract is an environmental friendly plant growth regulator. In order to demonstrate the effect of seaweed extract on fresh eating maize seedling growth under water stress, both two fresh eating maize varieties (Zhuyutian No.1 and Zhuyunuo No.1) seed germination and seedling growth were investigated that the seaweed extract with four different concentrations under six different moisture conditions in pot culture. The results showed that seaweed extract had no significant effects on the seed germination of two fresh eating maize varieties under water stresses, but it can enhance their seedling resistance through promote root length, increase root number, improve the activity of protective enzymes, accumulation of soluble sugar, therefore, decreasing content of MDA revealed the injury reducing of water stresses. Under the background of water stress occurred frequently in the south. The application of seaweed extract in the cultivation of fresh eating maize is beneficial to its stable and high yield.
